Sweeden is not that open to dogs. No B&B would have us. Good that our Sweedish friends on Læsø had told us about this very nice familyhotel "Lillton" very quiet neighborhood and still right in the middle.

I was writing a mail, when I saw the last sunlight lighting up the roses outside my window.

Best friends

Today we are looking after Malou for Inge and everybody is enjoying the arrangement. They are so sweet together.

Good vibrations

Visit in Holte, where Inge is looking after her family's house and Malou, a black labrador. Frida and her very quickly became best friends.

Art & Rhytm

We went to the open art exhibition at the harbour in Hornbæk, where theese visitors were a happy surprise.

On our way to shop in Hornbæk we pass this field and have a good sniff of the fragrance.

Morning swim

Perfect day for a swim. Frida joined us in the water and with a litle help learned to go up and down the stairs. She swims much faster than me.

Kaprifolie

They have grown so big this year - totally covering the fence. When the sun goes down the flowers fill the whole garden with their fragrance. They are very seductive - the way they reach out its good they dont eat things.

Elderflower

Its so hot now, that it was last chance to save the wonderful smell of the flowers in this very tasty drink that Lone makes. It stays four days in the fridge before its purified and ready to drink.

New bathing jetty

Finally we have our new jetty and I had my first swim this evening.

Wild place to be. Not friendly at all, but satisfying on a deeper level.

Skagen Museum

Two pictures in the museum stayed on my mind this time: Here Krøyer and his wife Marie painted each other as they saw each other. She looks like an angel and he looks sad and beaten.


Anna Ancher painted this woman. The golden sunlight really stands out when you read the title: The blind woman in her room.

We heard about her two days ago and picked her up this morning. Frida is 10 weeks and her mother, a Labrador (formel 1), lives a few houses away and her father, a border collie, lives a bit further down the road. She's so soft...

Lone turned 50 and we invited just as many friends and family.

Coco was here for 10 days and took us on some special walks.

Our family in Svendborg has a boat and today the weather was just right for a trip between the islands.

We planted it late last summer. It has its name for a good reason. Theres always butterflies.

We are often cooking our food at the table these days on this wonderful little table grill - its a danish design based upon a tradition from the french alps. Many thanks to Elsebeth who discovered its usefulness.

Weekend in Stockholm

I can highly recommend it. We stayed in Saltsjöbaden and used our "A la carte"-card to go everywhere and see everything for free. This very special dinner was on Holmen Kök & bar on a small island across from the hotel
